Christmas week at the Casa

Christmas day has come and gone! It was such a great Advent season and a great Christmas day! We went to the Solemn Mass at St. Thomas, which is always beautiful. The church was decorated so nicely  ! When we arrived home we opened gifts. Of courses, Jacob had no idea what was going on! He started eating the paper. He has been teething pretty badly lately, poor hito. He has found comfort in chewing on everything and anything.

Joshua received a digital camera, for kids of course. He is such a fan of taking photos of everything, then looking at them. He was also very excited about the cool toys he got from his grandparents! It has been really cool seeing Joshie & Jacob playing with all their new things!  My Mom has been crocheting like a mad woman! She crocheted this cute little reindeer hat, along with a turkey & owl hat too. They are super cute & the Joshie is such a good sport! Jacob on the other hands wants to eat it. 

We had our families over for dinner on Christmas day. It was nice to spend it with everyone, we are so blessed to have our family here in town. I have been pretty cruddy at taking pictures, I need to work on it!

It has been nice to have this week off, I don't go back to work until January 2nd, so I will get to spend a week at home with the boys. It is nice to have some time off to relax and recoup from a crazy busy semester at the church. Even though I have a list of things I need to get done in my time off the first thing on the list is to play with the boys and snuggle with the hubb (and finish my current crochet project).
